What is Mediation
Mediation is a process in which a Mediator assist the parties involved to resolve the disputes which exist between them without having to resort to costly and acrimonious litigation.
The Mediation Meeting which is convened between all parties involved and the elected Mediator is done so in a neutral setting in order to create a safe space for all parties to freely discuss their issues and/or concerns relating to their matter at hand.
Mediation in Divorce matters assists both parties in reaching agreement for themselves as well as their minor children instead of handing over full control of their own personal affairs to the Courts who will pass judgement at their own discretion. Mediation reduces the conflict between the parties by helping the parties to understand the issues at hand together with the multiple options for settlement in relation to those specific issues, this will avoid the parties to becoming embroiled in unnecessary, acrimonious and costly litigation.
Here at Miranda & Associates we deal with the following categories in a Uncontested Divorce, but not limited to:

Mediation in a workplace is dealt with in a very similar way to that mentioned above. It is aimed to manage conflict and resolve disputes that arise between either employee to employee or to employee to employer. In most cases, mediation in a workplace results in 1 of 2 options:
- 1. The parties resolve their dispute amicably and reach agreement so that a normal working relationship is restored to that of a professionally nature; and/or
- 2. The parties cannot reach agreement to resolve their dispute, however, they have reached agreement to mutually separate and have agreed to the terms of the Mutual Separation Agreement. This allows both parties to move on with both their lives without having any hostility towards one another.
