The Firm

Why we are different

• A Next Generation Law Firm

Miranda & Associates is a new breed of law firm, a firm of business lawyers for small and medium sized enterprises, providing tailored and integrated legal services across a wide range of practice areas. Miranda & Associates have abandoned the ivory tower and embraced simplicity and technology while avoiding unnecessary overheads. Miranda & Associates is built to provide smart, lightweight, flexible and client focused legal services

• Cost Certainty

You want great legal services at a reasonable and predictable price. We want to work with you to achieve your goals and focus on delivering results rather than chasing billable hours. If you want AAA office space and big boardrooms, we know lots of lawyers in large traditional law firms that would be happy to charge you for the privilege.

• Designed to Fit Your Needs

Whether you are a start-up, growing business, established organization or an entrepreneur with big dreams and bigger goals, Miranda & Associates is designed to fit your needs. When running a business, you need to be flexible, client focused and constantly evolving to meet the needs of your customers. Shouldn’t your law firm operate the same way?

• Client Meetings that Work for You

Life is busy and we don’t expect you to drop everything to visit our offices in the middle of your day. While we always like to meet in person, much of our work can be completed online, over email, the phone or video conference (Skype).

• We Keep Things Simple

There will always be a place in the world for traditional high cost law firms. We simply believe our clients prefer working with a law firm that embraces a different set of values. In the law firm world where feigned complexity is put on a pedestal, we’re here to challenge the status quo and demystify the practice of law with transformative legal services.

• Evolving to Meet Your Needs

Miranda & Associates is built from the ground up to embrace technology. We see it as a tool to improve service, not a threat to our business model.

We Price to build relationships

Payment That Works for You

Unexpected legal bills can be incredibly frustrating. It can also erode trust in our relationship. So, when it comes to pricing, we let you choose how we bill you for legal services. We will work to find a pricing model that works for you.

You Choose How We Bill

Choose from our regular hourly billing, fixed-fee legal services menu or let us give you a project fee based on your business needs. We want you to know your legal costs from the outset.

There’s nothing easy about founding a new startup. But that doesn’t mean the legal aspects should slow you down. The new business package is well suited for the solo entrepreneur or multiple shareholders looking to get things off on the right foot.

If you are an established Company, a growing startup, or another small business, you should consider how the law impacts what you do day-to-day. Being proactive rather than reactive to legal issues will always be a better approach.

When most Companies say they are worried about employing someone for the first time they actually mean they are worried about being able to dismiss people they have employed! Being proactive rather than reactive to employment issues will always be a better approach.
